Benny "psychobenny" Spindler is a former C+ ranked StarCraft protoss player who has done quite well in poker. Spindler had a massive breakout poker tournament year in 2009, winning over $1.6 million. Spindler had a massive 2009 finishing third in the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure for $1.1 million. He finished 6th for $82k at the WPT Marrakech and 11th at the London EPT main event. Spindler won €316,000 for coming in second to Bertrand 'ElkY' Grospellier at the 2011 EPT Madrid High Roller event.

Spindler has also had considerable success online, his most recent success being a third in the May 2011 PLO SCOOP event #17 for $55k. He won a $1k Monday Full Tilt tourney in September 2010 for $101k. Spindler finished second for $211k in the $2k FTOP XVI event #25 in 2010. In April 2009, Splindler won $310k for winning the $25k buy-in SCOOP Heads-Up event, defeating EPT founder John Duthie in the final. Spindler has over $3 million in online and live tournament winnings. Spindler was born in 1986 in Darmstadt, Germany and resides in Weiterstadt, Germany.
