The Game Awards 2025 showed off a ton of upcoming games, from Megaman: Double Override to Star Wars: Fate of the Old Republic.
The Game Awards 2025 returned for yet another three-hour show this year, delivering a bevy of announcements and reveals for upcoming video games in what remains of 2025, 2026, and beyond. The event also bestowed awards to the games industry’s best talent and titles across multiple categories, ranging from Game of the Year to Best Esports Team.

The Free Shepherd (2027)
This adorable indie game stars a puppy shepherding sheep around grassy hills.
Decrepit
In this game, players will die again and again while fighting monsters and all manner of spooky creatures in the depths of a dungeon.

The creator of Audio Surf has a shiny new neon-lit platforming game, with a demo out later today (12 December).
Guild Wars 2: Visions of Eternity
Guild Wars 2’s latest expansion dropped a new trailer earlier today.

Capcom dropped a demo for Pragmata by surprise today, allowing everyone to try out the tech-based third-person shooter.
Solasta II (2026)
Ben Starr (Final Fantasy XVI) and Devorah Wilde (Baldur’s Gate 3) star in this tactical RPG.
Bradley the Badger
This action-adventure game appears to parody Bloodborne, The Last of Us, and more, with its titular badger jumping through different games while using game dev tricks.
Stupid Never Dies (2026)

Star Wars: Fate of the Old Republic
Arcanaut Studios is making a spiritual successor to Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, entitled Fate of the Old Republic. Knights of the Old Republic and Mass Effect game director Casey Hudson is helming the project.
Divinity
Larian Studios (Baldur’s Gate 3) is officially working on a brand-new entry in the Divinity franchise, aptly titled Divinity. The action-RPG is described as being “bigger” than Baldur’s Gate 3, suggesting that it’s going to be quite a whopper when it launches.

J.J. Abrams and his production company Bad Robot are working with Left4Dead creator Mike Booth to make a new co-op shooter.
Coven of the Chicken Foot
Bruce Straley (Uncharted, The Last of Us)’s new studio Wildflower Interactive’s new adventure game follows an old lady and an eldritch being.

This spiritual successor to Soma stars Stellan Skarsgård, set on the moon.
Zenless Zone Zero
HoYoverse showed off Zenless Zone Zero’s next featured banner characters Ye Shunguang and Zhao, and also teased the impending arrival of a brand-new faction: Angels of Delusion.
Resident Evil Requiem (2026)
Leon S. Kennedy has been confirmed as Resident Evil Requiem’s second playable character, joining Grace Ashcroft.
