After missing out on Worlds last year, Bilibili Gaming are back to the semifinals.
LPL powerhouse
Bilibili Gaming (BLG) are now the third team to advance to the League of Legends World Championship 2026 semifinals after they soundly swept LCK fourth seed
Dplus KIA (DK) in their best-of-five quarterfinals match in the Knockout Stage on Friday (6 November).
With their victory, BLG have guaranteed themselves at least a 3rd-4th place finish and US$400,000 in winnings. After missing out on Worlds last year, BLG are now set to return to the semifinals for the first time since their second place finish at Worlds 2024. Their semifinals opponent will be the winner of the final quarterfinals match between
Karmine Corp and
T1, the team that notably defeated BLG in the Worlds 2024 grand finals.
Meanwhile, DK bow out of Worlds 2026 in 5th-8th place and will take home US$300,000 in consolation. This marks the organisation's best result in Worlds in the past four years, having failed to qualify last year, only managing a 9th-11th place finish in back-to-back years in 2024 and 2023, and finishing 5th-8th in 2022.
