PlayStation’s latest State of Play dropped multiple new announcements, including a look at the upcoming Monster Hunter Wilds expansion Ascendance.
Sony Interactive Entertainment held back-to-back State of Play presentations this week, showing off new trailers and announcements for upcoming PlayStation 5 video games. The show finally gave us a new look at Monster Hunter Wilds Ascendance, along with a new game reveal for Maneater 2.
Here’s everything you missed in the September 2026 State of Play:
Resident Evil
We got a new clip from the upcoming Resident Evil movie hitting theatres this month, featuring its protagonist fleeing through a street of suicidal zombies.
Marvel’s Wolverine
Marvel’s Wolverine showed off a launch trailer today, diving into the game’s story campaign and major setpieces.
