Fortnite will introduce Nikki from Obsession to the battle royale tomorrow.
Popular horror character Nikki Freeman from Obsession is confirmed to arrive in Fortnite’s Halloween event, Fortnitemares, later today, 21 October.
In the official teaser, actress Inde Navarette, who played Nikki in the hit horror film Obsession, made a wish using the One Wish Willow, hoping that her character would enter Fortnite. And as we’ve seen in the film, the One Wish Willow follows through… hard.
Fortnite shared glimpses of Nikki’s appearance in the game, featuring her iconic red zebra-print top and denim shorts. There was also a close-up of her bloodstained face (shaded brown, presumably for censorship), similar to the one seen in the film, which could arrive as a separate style option.
This reveal officially confirms Nikki’s Fortnite skin, after Epic Games had only subtly teased the film’s collaboration through the appearance of the One Wish Willow in previous trailers.
There are likely to be more Obsession-themed cosmetics in the Fortnite Item Shop but as usual, players will only officially know once the collaboration fully launches. We will update this article with the full list of new cosmetics after Obsession arrives in Fortnite.
Obsession joins the Fortnitemares 2026 line-up
Halloween in Fortnite has never been livelier, with an unprecedented month-long Fortnitemares event bringing together horror icons from across the entertainment industry.
The game has featured collaborations with Five Nights at Freddy’s, Hazbin Hotel, and The Purge, all of which are currently available in the Item Shop. Throughout the month, Fortnite has also featured crossovers with Roblox’s 99 Nights in the Forest, Hollow Knight, and Jason from Friday the 13th.
Obsession, the 2025 independent horror film that became one of the highest-grossing horror films ever, was unsurprisingly one of the most highly requested collaborations. The film became a hot topic in the past year, and Nikki’s “red zebra halter top” was also among the most popular Halloween costume searches. It only makes sense to have Obsession enter Fortnitemares, and with a snap of the One Wish Willow, Epic Games has made that wish come true.
Other teased collaborations that have yet to arrive in Fortnitemares include Slender Man, Predator: Badlands, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Beetlejuice, Halloween Horror Nights, and Black Clover.
Fortnitemares this year kicked off at the start of October and is scheduled to end on 1 November, 2026. It is a major Halloween event that runs on the current Chapter 7 Season 4 called “Override”, which brings its own extensive line-up of “gaming legends” collaborations.
