Bakery: "We played a few games together and it just clicked."

Bob Question Mark is about to give another opportunity for us to judge how far into the top of the European scene they stand: Enter The Storm #3 Playoffs. Bakery, Bob?'s Support player, was kind enough to share his thoughts on their team name, their hero choices and their competition.

Tell us a little about Bob? as a team. Your team name is a bit of an inside joke isn't it?

We're a relatively new team made up of most of the old SK players, adrd from Gamers2, and Athero - a player from League of Legends who started playing just 2 months ago. Our name actually comes from something Khaldor said once while streaming, "I don't know why teams have to call themselves such stupid names. Why can't a team just call themselves Bob?". So of course we took that literally.

How did you guys find each other?

Obviously all 3 of the old SK players were looking for team at the time, and when adrd became available it was the obvious choice to try and team up. We found Athero, who me and Snitch had played with in League, and who had just started playing the game. We played a few games together and it just clicked.

Qualifying for the Enter the Storm #3 finals is a big victory for your team. What does it take for your team to compete with Top EU teams?

We're a team full of mechanically skilled players, and we have great strategical leading from adrd. I think that, coupled with our great work ethic and practice schedule, really allow us to stand toe to toe with Europe's top teams.

You just recently defeated Team Liquid 2-0. A lot of people would call that a huge upset. Can you explain what happened?

I don't want to exaggerate how much the win means. It's not the most important tournament, and I know Team Liquid recently had some issues with getting practice back to normal - one of their players was ill and they had issues with flights back from MGA. With that said I think we were able to outclass them with our versatility in the draft phase, and followed it up with solid, clean play.

Our stats show your team has a strong bias towards Tyrael and Leoric as tanks lately. Can you explain what potential you see in these heroes? Leoric is a little more understandable but Tyrael can be considered a niche pick...

Athero's playstyle perfectly lines up with Tyrael, and I think his play shows that. Leoric is of course a priority pick for every team, so in games where Leoric is picked away, the next tank we look for is Tyrael, although it is not always the best pick.

As a team, you guys heavily rely on Uther, picking him 21 times in 34 matches. What makes Uther so good and how do you respond if a team decides to ban him? is there ever a time NOT to pick Uther?

Uther is a great Support right now, as he disables Illidan and enables Kerrigan. To top that off, he has great burst healing, ok sustain healing and of course the utility of 3 seconds invulnerability. All of those features make him a fantastic support to have, especially since there are so few viable supports right now.

What do you think separates Bob? from other Heroes teams?

I think as a team we are incredibly versatile, able to play pretty much any style to at least a different level. I also think we have a fantastic grasp on the way that different styles relate to each other, which allows us to utilise our versatility so well.

What team are you most afraid of going into ETS #3 Finals?

We're not afraid of anyone, but we really respect Team Liquid.
