EG-TL clinch a 4-3 against SKT

After suffering two losses in week two, the joint roster recovers with an ace match win against Boxer's SKT. In the other match of the day, STX nail a three-game win streak by going 4-2 against Team 8.

A 30-minute PvT on Planet S opened the first series and Parting used his colossi and archons to deep fry Alive's bio but EG-TL were quick on the recovery. A very similar macro PvT on Whirlwind followed in which Liquid's ace Taeja reminded the audience of his proficiency in killing Protosses and equalized the score. Jaedong came in as third and with several consecutive baneling busts against soO, EG-TL came in the lead.


Taeja surrounds Brown and ties it 1-1

Having no intention to lose the tug-of-war to the "foreigners", SKT used Fantasy's manic marine/mine harassments combined with frontal aggression as well as Rain's PvP proficiency to regain the set advantage.

Unfortunately for Boxer's team, these were their last wins for the day. JYP's proxy oracle into blink stalker won over Paralyze and forced an ace match in which Hero took vengeance on Rain to close the series 4-3 for EG-TL.

STX's third victory in a row was a bit less contested. Innovation used hellbat drops with marine/marauder frontal attacks to take the early edge. T8's Cure immediately tied the score but STX's Last and YoungJoo came forth with powerful retorts and put their team to a 3-1 lead, using tank pushes and baneling openings.

Two PvP's followed before the series was done. Argo punished Mini to get T8 back in the game but STX's momentum was not extinguished even the slightest - after a final colossus mirror war, Dear prevailed over Terminator and the series was done. 4-2 for STX Soul.
