Everything revealed for Neverness to Everness Version 1.5–Exe, Elyms, vehicles, events

NTE's Version 1.5 will introduce new S-Class characters, two new vehicles, fresh events, and more.

Neverness to Everness (NTE) has unveiled everything coming in Version 1.5, titled “Once Upon a Glitched Call”. The update will embrace a tech-themed aesthetic, which ties in with its upcoming characters, ETD-6 Lieutenant Elyms and Captain Exe.

Appraisers will embark on a new story exploring the “friction” between the ETD-6 leaders, leading them into a new anomalous realm featuring its own unique boss. In addition, two new vehicles have been revealed, alongside a fresh line-up of events and activities.

We break down everything coming to NTE Version 1.5, as revealed during the livestream, below.

What characters and banners are coming to NTE Version 1.5?

First-half, from 11 November to 2 December:

  • Elyms’ banner–Android Dreams
  • Elyms’ Arc banner–Echoes Special
  • [RERUN] Shinku’s banner–Before the Dawn
  • [RERUN] Shinku’s Arc banner–Resolve Special

Second half, from 2 December to 23 December:

Elyms profile: Banner, Arc, upgrade materials, and more

Elyms will be available through her limited-time banner in the first-half of Version 1.5 (Image: Hotta Studio).

Version 1.5 kicks off with Elyms’ limited-time banner, “Android Dreams”, running from 11 November to 2 December. Her featured Arc banner, “Echo Special”, will run for the same duration, featuring her signature Arc, “Echoes on Hold”.

Elyms is an S-Class Cosmos Esper described as bubbly and easygoing. She will join the ranks of the game’s Cosmos characters, including Zero, Hotori, and Shinku. Her Arc compatibility is Solid, allowing her to use Arcs such as Reality Refuge and Day Off. However, her signature Arc, “Echoes on Hold”, would be the best option. As a Burst DPS, she also provides DMG Boost support for the team.

If you’re planning to pull for Elyms, start farming the following materials to level her up as soon as possible.

For skill upgrades, collect:

  • Hollowflower Seeds from the new Anomaly Pilgrimage boss, “Amber Broodmother”
  • The Olive Branch by clearing Houdinii’s Schemes

For level ascension, collect:

  • Tear of the Sea from the Anomaly Hunt boss, “Sea Prisoner”
  • Silhouettes from Fluffy, Bopp, and other sources

At launch, Elyms will also have three outfits. Drifting Petals can be obtained by reaching the required number of pulls on her banner, while Windflower unlocks when you reach Bond Level 10. Her third outfit, “Y2K Mystique”, can be purchased directly from the Mall.

Elyms is voiced by Crystal Lee, who also voices Clorinde in Genshin Impact, Jean Grey in Marvel Rivals, and Alexandrina Sebastiane in Zenless Zone Zero.

Exe profile: Banner, Arc, upgrade materials, and more

Exe will be available through his limited-time banner in the second-half of Version 1.5 (Image: Hotta Studio).

Exe’s limited-time banner, “Offline Equations”, will arrive in the second half of NTE Version 1.5 along with his Arc banner “Encryption Special”, which features his signature Arc “Dotted Horizon”.

Despite working closely with Elyms to lead ETD-6, Exe is her polar opposite. Cold and level-headed, he is also said to be an elite hacker who operates under an alias.

Exe is a Chaos Esper, making him only the third character with this Esper element, alongside Daffodil and Lacrimosa. His Arc compatibility is Plasma, allowing him to use Arcs such as Raging Flames and Song of the Whale. However, his signature Arc, “Dotted Horizon”, is expected to be his best option. Exe specialises in Main DPS and is a Summoner.

If you’re planning to pull for Exe, start farming the following materials to level him up as soon as possible.

For skill upgrades, collect:

  • Hollowflower Seeds from the new Anomaly Pilgrimage boss, “Amber Broodmother”
  • The Second Self by clearing Houdinii’s Schemes

For level ascension, collect:

  • Confessional Flower Seeds from the Anomaly Hunt boss, “Serenetti”
  • Numerals from Cardboard Castle, ReroRero Phone Booth, and other sources

Exe will also receive three outfits at launch. Blue Snow can be obtained by reaching the required number of pulls on his banner, while X% unlocks at Bond Level 10. His third outfit, “Untouched by Rain”, can be purchased directly from the Mall.

Exe is voiced by John Patneaude, who also voices Kinich in Genshin Impact and Daemon in Date Everything!, and portrays Nikola Tesla in the Record of Ragnarok anime series.

NTE Version 1.5: New location, vehicles, and events

Version 1.5 will introduce a story centred on the ETD-6 leaders, taking Appraisers into a new, digitised anomalous realm called “The Invalid Number System”. The location is described as a blend of “nostalgiacore, dreamcore, and poolcore”, evoking an uncanny atmosphere. A unique boss also awaits within this strange realm.

More content has been revealed, including, of course, new vehicles. However, this line-up looks very different from the shiny Porsches we have come to expect.

In the upcoming Mystery Boxes, players can pull for two new vehicles. The first is the “Prototype Land Overlord 001”, a lion-themed kiddie ride that can boost its speed by consuming additional Fons every second.

The second vehicle is the “Iron Ogre”, a red tank that can traverse various terrains with ease. It can also fire shots while you are in the driver’s seat, allowing you to damage roaming anomalies and street gangsters.

The tank also ties into a brand-new mini-game, “Full Tank Ahead”, where players can compete against others in 4v4 battles. You can roam freely around the map, collect ammunition and drops, hide inside buildings, and more.

Beyond that, NTE is also encouraging Appraisers to venture into the world of business. Through Logistic Hubs, players can open delivery branches, hire drivers and staff, and upgrade their operations to improve revenue efficiency. This new City Stamina activity could be fun for those who enjoys management simulators and wants another way to grind for Fons.

All events announced for NTE Version 1.5

As usual, the Circle Gift log-in event will return, alongside Hunter’s Crucible, Pixel Surge, Gold Clash, Fons Rush, and additional Beyond the Rails quests.

Fishing Frenzy, a fan-favourite event, will also make a comeback. Meanwhile, a Halloween-themed event, Magic Lucky Flip, has been revealed, which will see “Hethereau turn into a giant pumpkin”.

A new event, Fortune’s Bounty, will also arrive, allowing players to earn progress and rewards by completing tasks such as rolling on Limited Boards and pulling on Arc banners. Other activities include City Logistics, Tycoon’s Deck (a new strategy card and city management mini-game), and Full Tank Ahead.

Hotta Studio has also revealed several quality-of-life improvements, including changes to resource management, with more enhancements on the way.
