For some countries there are a limited amount of ways to qualify for your nations finals in the World Cyber Games. For the ![United States]( "United States")
United States of America, they have a few. One of these few is the famous Online Prelims.
The first American Online Prelims were held in the middle of May. Only the top four could advance from that preliminary. If you did not qualify online you had to go qualify offline, which for some people it is a little bit harder than being at your own house.
The second American Online Prelims kicked off on July 1st, and ended yesterday, July 10th. 154 players took part in the online event, but only 4 of them may advance. The officials still have to check for abusing and such things so the rankings are not official, yet.
