More than 80 players were registered, and almost 35 players confirmed their participation. The first 1on1 tournament hosted by GosuGamers have taken place.
The format of the tournament, Single Elimination and best out of one, did that everything was over pretty quick. After a few hours of gaming the final game had been played, and no one else than the polish Zerg player SunCow(GN) stood as the winner. In the final he had played against the Czech Zerg bio.Joe and won with 2-1.

After his win in the tournament I had a short chat with SunCow. He did not have the replay of the second game, where Joe managed to expand quickly and then win.
Hello, SunCow(GN)! Congratulations to the victory!I want to say thank you to everyone who participated in the tournament. Everything went really smooth, and there were no interruptions. I'm looking forward to the next one!
Thanks! :)
What do you think of the tournament?
It was quite nice, but I am a little dissapointed that not many good players showed up. :)
How did you think you would do when everything started?
Hmm, I am always optimistic. I can't say I was expecting to win, but I am happy. :)
How was the skill among your opponents?
It was okay, but only NW_Punisher was close to eliminate me from the tournament.
In the final you played bio.Joe. Can you tell me something about the games?
Yes. The first game ended early when I attacked with 6 Mutalisks and 4 Scourges and killed some Overlords and after that it was GG.
The second game was harder. He expanded fast and I was not able to kill the expansion hatchery and lost.
The third game was a Terran vs. Zerg on Bifrost. I made a Barrack near his base and Bunker rushed him. :)
Thanks for your time, and once again, congratulations!
Thanks, see u soon! :)
