We’re only counting days until the League of Legends World Championship 2026 kicks off with the LCK, LPL, LEC, LCS, LCP, and CBLOL all locking in their representatives for the biggest LoL Esports tournament of the year.
While five out of six leagues have already confirmed the seeding of their teams, CBLOL has yet to find out who will be their first and second seed at the CBLOL 2026 Split 2 Grand Finals scheduled for 10 October 2026.

What is the League of Legends World Championship?
The League of Legends World Championship, better known as Worlds, is the annual world championship for LoL Esports. Worlds 2026 is the sixteenth edition of the tournament and will run from 15 October to 14 November across Los Angeles, California; Allen, Texas; and Brooklyn, New York, in the United States.
A total of 19 teams from six regional leagues will compete for the Summoner’s Cup. The tournament begins with the Play-In in Los Angeles, California, from 15–18 October, followed by the Swiss Stage in Allen, Texas, from 23–31 October. The Knockout Stage then runs from 3–14 November, with the quarterfinals and semifinals also taking place in Allen, Texas, before the Worlds Final heads to Brooklyn, New York.
Worlds 2026 has a US$5 million prize pool, while this year's tournament theme is "THIS IS OUR MOMENT," centred on the players, fans, and wider LoL Esports community sharing in the biggest event of the season.
