A multiplayer raid-like mode is coming to Marvel Rivals.
NetEase Games has officially released a first look at Marvel Rivals Season 10.5, a midseason update for the hero shooter that forgoes the usual new hero launch for two new MCU game modes instead. According to a newly-released Dev. Vision video, Season 10.5 will add a PvP Avengers: Infinity War and a raid-like PvE Avengers Endgame mode, along with lots of spooky new Halloween content.

Marvel Rivals Season 10.5: Avengers: Infinity War mode explained
Marvel Rivals Season 10.5 is doubling down on its Path to Doomsday roadmap with two new Avengers-themed game modes. The first is Path to Doomsday–Avengers: Infinity War, described as a “fast-paced, 2v2 PvP mode built around short rounds, random drafting, and intense duo matchups.”
Here’s how it works. 12 players will form six teams of two, with the ability to select from a roster of 13 playable heroes in total. What will follow is a round-robin battle, with teams facing off in 2v2 deathmatches in Wakanda. Between rounds, players can draft cards from a random pool to upgrade their abilities and stats–much like the Age of Ultron mode.
This will allow players to create unique builds, and even counter-build against their opponents. To complicate things further, every team is randomly assigned an Infinity Stone at the start of a match. These Infinity Stones grant completely unique abilities, and players can go so far as to claim other teams’ Infinity Stones upon beating them.
This game mode will become available the moment Season 10.5 launches.
Marvel Rivals Season 10.5: Avengers Endgame mode explained
On 22 October, Marvel Rivals will follow up on the Infinity War mode with the release of the Path to Doomsday–Avengers: Endgame mode. This is described as a “massive PvE mode” where a whopping 50 players will assemble in the ruins of Avengers Compound to face down Thanos and his army head-on.
While further details weren’t given on the Endgame mode, it sounds like this will be Marvel Rivals’ version of a multiplayer raid. On top of this, both the Infinity War and Endgame modes will be accompanied by MCU-themed events at the Times Square player hub.
Marvel Rivals Season 10.5 Halloween events and cosmetics explained
