This mysterious tweet was posted on Blizzard's official Hearthstone twitter. We see a bunch of cards (all characters present in Heroes of the Storm) on the board then a Brawl happens. Hint at a new game mode, or something more?
Just three hours ago, Blizzard released this:
Considering that a new hero is being revealed this Thursday, this probably isn't a coincidence. Is a character from Hearthstone entering the Nexus, or is a Heroes of the Storm inspired event going to take place in Hearthstone?
Or perhaps, what we should be focusing on is the card being played in the gif. Brawl. It's no secret that the fabled Arena mode has been in limbo for around a year and the demo available at BlizzCon 2015 was the last we ever heard or saw of the game mode. Is this a nod to what we might expect at BlizzCon 2016?
And of course, there are is wildest bit of speculation-- the Inn Keeper as a playable Hero. After Cho'gall, anything seems possible.
