If you haven't kept up to date with Heroes of the Storm lately, here's everything important from last week!
MVP Black is good enough to do whatever they want with the Spring Championship trophy. They have earned it. Last weekend MVP Black swept the competition in Blizzard's Spring Global Championship, not losing a single game.
This fearless team is still undefeated, now boasting an amazing record of 22 consecutive wins.
A recent 'In Development' video from Blizzard showcases the next hero coming to the Nexus, Tracer. The video showed off Tracer’s ability to fire while moving, dash around obstacles in ping-pong like fashion, and even displayed her skills at flipping away from attacks like Sonya’s Leap heroic.
We also got to see Tracer’s different looks, including a sinister-looking Spectre skin to go along with her sweet Phantom Spectre Mount and an awesome jet fighter themed Master skin, which should pair nicely with her flashy playstyle.
It was a demoralizing second half to the Spring Global Championship for EU and NA fans, as not a single team from either region made it to top four.

Tempo Storm released a statement Friday announcing the depature of another original member, So1dier. Kaeyoh will now be the last player on the team from the original Symbiote Gaming roster.
So1dier’s statement in the announcement doesn’t confirm whether or not he will be looking for another team to join, but says he will look into streaming more often.
With two North American qualifiers for the first Summer Regional just one week away, Tempo Storm assures us they WILL be competing.
”We would like to confirm that, yes, we will be competing to qualify for the North American regional, and for our shot at a piece of the $500,000 summer global championship prize pool at DreamHack Summer in Sweden.”
Scheduled for April 17th, the April Showdown is looking to bring in all teams in the ANZ region, regardless of prior experience. The event will be run in a similar fashion to their previous events, with a double elimination bracket aimed at giving teams as much competitive experience as is possible in preparation for the Summer Season.
Negative Synergy just competed in the Spring Global Championship with teams from around the world, but fell short to Edward Gaming in the first round, and were knocked out by Naventic in the losers bracket. Negative Synergy is definitely expected to be the top team in the ANZ region and it will be interesting to see which teams can provide them with some competition.
The Dehaka patch came out Tuesday, bringing the latest hero to the action as well as many other major changes. Here are some of the big ones:
- Hero bans have been added to draft mode for both Hero and Team League games.
- The Draft Lobby has received an overhaul and additional visual polish.
- A “Favorites” bar has been added during the hero select draft phase.
- Death recaps have been added
- Hotkey profiles have been added
- Quick Cast for Individual Abilities has been added
- Sylvanas has finally been given a possession re-work that is actually competitively viable.
- and finally, Rehgar’s Ghost Wolf form now matches the skins tint he chose.
