March was a rather quiet month in terms of competition for the ANZ scene, but now it's time to get back into the action.
Outside of the official Blizzard events, ANZ Heroes has so far been the go-to for competitive action for those in Australia and New Zealand. After a bit of a hectic February, there was a break in the action as we wait with bated breath to see how Negative Synergy will perform on the international stage. Once that's over, it's time to bring back the local competition, and ANZ Heroes is here to meet the demand.
Scheduled for the 17th, the April Showdown is looking to bring in all teams in the ANZ region, regardless of prior experience. The event will be run similar to how their previous events have been, with a double elimination bracket looking to give teams as much competitive experience possible in preparation for the Summer Season.
So far prizes for the event have yet to be announced, but donations towards the prize pool are welcomed. For more information about the event, head over to the ANZ Heroes announcement here, or head over to the Battlefy page here.
Note: We have been informed that there may be changes made to event between now and then. We will make updates when the information is revealed.
