PlayStation’s latest State of Play dropped multiple new announcements, including a look at the upcoming Faye-focused God of War game..
Sony Interactive Entertainment held an hour-long State of Play presentation this week, showing off new trailers and announcements for upcoming PlayStation 5 video games. The show finally gave us a new look at Silent Hill Townfall, along with new game reveals for God of War Laufey, Rayman Legends Retold, and more.
Here’s everything you missed in the June 2026 State of Play:
Marvel’s Wolverine (2026)
Developer Insomniac Games showed off an extended look at Marvel’s Wolverine, the upcoming game adaptation focusing on sharp-clawed mutant Logan Howlett. The extended look featured bloody gameplay footage of Wolverine hacking and slashing his way through a crowd of goons. It also featured the reveal of a new member of the game’s cast: Jean Grey.

Marvel Tokon Fighting Souls (6 August, 2026)
Developer Arc System Works showed off Doom’s in-game team for Marvel Tokon Fighting Souls: Carnage, Green Goblin, Doctor Doom himself, and Magneto.

Ubisoft’s long-awaited Rayman remake has finally been revealed.

Bancho the Chef (TBA)
An apparent prequel to Dave the Diver follows the original exploits of a sushi master in the making.
Kemuri: Hunt the Unseen (2027)
UNSEEN’s Ikumi Nakamura has shown off a new trailer for her studio’s next big release: Kemuri, a yokai-hunting action game. It can be played either solo or in three-person co-op multiplayer.
Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis (12 February, 2027)
The upcoming Tomb Raider (1996) remake has been delayed to 2027, but nevertheless had lots of gameplay to show during today’s State of Play presentation.
The Lost Wild–True Fear is Primal (2027)
This dinosaur game has players embark on a survival horror adventure in overgrown research facilities, as they attempt to survive… well, dinosaurs!
Phantom Blade Zero (9 September, 2026)
Ahead of its own dedicated State of Play stream this summer, Phantom Blade Zero dropped a new teaser this week.
Dune: Awakening console release (22 September, 2026)
The survival MMO Dune: Awakening is launching on console platforms this September.
Dynasty Warriors 3: Complete Edition Remastered (1 October, 2026)
This modern revival of Dynasty Warriors 3 and Dynasty Warriors 3: Xtreme Legends got a deep dive during State of Play.
No Rest for the Wicked 1.0 launch (October 2026)
Ori and the Blind Forest developer is officially launching its early access game No Rest for the Wicked’s 1.0 patch this October.
Onimusha: Way of the Sword (25 September, 2026)
Onimusha: Way of the Sword, an all-new entry in Capcom's swordplay action series, will be released on 25 September, 2026. The release date confirmation also came with new gameplay footage for the game, which focuses on Oni Gauntlet-wielding protagonist Miyamoto Musashi.
A demo for the game is also now available.
Silent Hill: Townfall (24 September, 2026)
Annapurna Interactive’s Silent Hill spin-off game, Silent Hill: Townfall, is officially launching this September. Here’s a description for the game: “Simon Ordell is called back to the island of St. Amelia to ‘put things right’, encountering a town lying quiet beneath a heavy fog, seemingly abandoned but not at rest.
“Venturing deeper, and driven to understand his connection to the place and its inhabitants, Simon begins to discover fragments of a past rising to the surface.”
Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve (2 October, 2026)
At long last, the next Ace Combat game is almost here. In this sequel set in 2029, The Federation of Central Usea (FCU) has fallen under attack by the Republic of Sotoa. Much of the nation has been invaded, the military is scattered, and you are left adrift at sea aboard the aging aircraft carrier Endurance. On this ship, you are given the call sign “Wings of Theve”–a legendary ace, and a symbol of hope for the capital of Usea.
ILL (TBA)
This gruesome horror game takes players into a dark fort invaded by a strange foreign entity.
Control Resonant (24 September, 2026)
Jesse Faden is officially in Control Resonant, if Remedy Entertainment’s new trailer for the game is to be taken at face value. The question remains: is she playable?
Also, Darling is back!
Stuntman: Hollywood (TBA)
The PlayStation 2 era Stuntman series returns, allowing players to perform driving tricks on the sets of iconic Hollywood projects like Miami Vice, Knight Rider, Death Race, and Back to the Future.
Marathon Season 2
Marathon Season 2 has officially gone live, amid an Open Play Week running from 2–9 June, 2026.
Until Dawn 2 (2027)
Developer Firesprite is officially making a sequel to Until Dawn, following a team of ghost hunters looking for their next viral hit. Here’s the game’s description:
