Warhammer fans are feasting right now, and we love to see it.
Game developer Auroch Digital showed up at this week’s Warhammer Skulls Showcase 2026 to drop not just one, but two free demos for both of its upcoming video games: Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 and Warhammer Survivors. Both games are set to launch later this year.

Game developer Auroch Digital is officially giving fans of Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun an early (and playable) glimpse at its upcoming sequel, Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2. The sequel is getting a Steam-exclusive demo, showing off its frantic combat, new enemy types and new playable characters.
In this PC demo, players can step into the shoes of Ultramarine Malum Caedo or Sister of Battle Nyra Veyrath (the latter being voiced by Dispatch’s Alanah Pearce). The demo will consist of two of the game’s new levels, which players can plunder for secrets in multiple difficulties.
The first level thrusts players into the wilds of a Death World, where they will explore a mangrove swamp infested with cultists and Nurgle daemoons. In the second level, players will visit an icy Imperial facility to fight the forces of chaos, and encounter new Khorne enemies.

If that’s not enough to satiate your Warhammer-hungry appetite, you can also check out a new demo–also released today–for Auroch Digital’s other Warhammer game coming out this year: Warhammer Survivors.
This Warhammer-flavoured twist on the Vampire Survivors formula was in fact developed in partnership with its original developer poncle, and features characters and enemies from both Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Age of Sigmar.
Both the Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 and Warhammer Survivors demos are playable on Steam now. Both games are set to launch sometime in 2026, with no firm release dates specified as of now.
