Warhammer Survivors has shown off its new Extremis Boss, Ghazghkull Mag Uruk Thraka.
Game developer Auroch Digital popped up at the Triple-i Initiative livestream this week to drop more details for its upcoming Vampire Survivors spin-off, Warhammer Survivors. The bullet hell roguelite game will put players in the boots of familiar Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer: Age of Sigmar characters.
A new trailer for the game has shown off more playable characters and enemies in the game:

Is Warhammer Survivors coming to consoles?
This week, a new trailer for Warhammer Survivors confirmed that the bullet hell roguelite is officially launching on console platforms, alongside its PC release later this year. The game will launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2, though an exact release date was not given.
New playable characters were also announced for the game, including the following:
- Chaplain Fo’Baran of the Salamanders Space Marine Chapter.
- Knight-Commander Pask, who commands a Leman Russ Tank capable of crushing light foes beneath its tracks.
- The one-man army, The Legend of Catachan, a feared veteran of the Catachan Jungle Fighters.
- Marneus Calgar, Chapter Master of the Ultramarines, wielding the mighty Gauntlets of Ultramar.
- Commissar Sebastian Yarrick, the old man of Armageddon and bane to Orkoid.
What weapons can you use in Warhammer Survivors?
Much like Vampire Survivors, Warhammer Survivors will task players with dispatching unrelenting hordes of enemies with increasingly powerful weaponry. This time, the player’s weapons are pulled directly from the Warhammer universes. The following weapons can be used to deal with the green tide:
- D6 Dice: exploding dice inflicting damage determined by the number rolled.
- Power Fist: a giant fist that swings in an arc around the player.
- Gauntlets of Ultramar (Evolved): an evolved version of the Power Fist, which unleashes a hail of bolter rounds with every swipe.
- Orbital Bombardment (Evolved): A devastating barrage from a voidship, obliterating multiple targets and leaving nothing but scorched ruin in its wake.
- Emperor’s Wrath (Evolved): a blazing aura of faith that scorches nearby foes with righteous vengeance.
Are there Orks in Warhammer Survivors?
A new enemy faction has also been announced for Warhammer Survivors. This faction is none other than the Orks, consisting of multiple enemy types:
- Cowardly, vicious grots, forced onto the front lines by the bigger, meaner orks.
- Scrappy Ork Boyz.
- Speed freak Warbikers who barrel toward the player, intent on destruction.
- Savage Bomb Squigs (who blow up after biting the player character).
- Ork Lootas and the Big Mek with Shokk Attack Gun
Additionally, the game also has an Extremis Boss in the form of Ghazghkull Mag Uruk Thraka, a fearsome enemy who can call hordes of Orks to his side. Warhammer Survivors will launch later in 2026.
