When is Petit Panet coming out?
HoYoverse’s cosmic life simulation game Petit Planet is launching just in time for the holiday season, on 4 December, 2026. The Animal Crossing-like life sim will launch as a free-to-play game with gacha mechanics, allowing players to build a life for themselves and their Neighbours on a planet of their very own. They will also be able to play with others in online multiplayer.
The game will feature a day-night cycle, with players being able to participate in activities like catching bugs, harvesting crops, going fishing, and beachcombing along the shore. They will also be able to unlock recipes for crafting, and use furniture and decorations to build up their home and surrounding environment.
As for the game’s gacha mechanics, judging by previous playtests, Petit Planet will feature gacha banners much like HoYoverse’s Genshin Impact and Zenless Zone Zero. However, instead of pulling for characters, players will pull for cosmetics and decorative items, like clothing and furniture.
Petit Planet will launch on 4 December, 2026.
