Post TI12 shuffle log; Confirmed roster changes for the upcoming Dota 2 season

With the end of The International 12, the traditional post-TI shuffle period has begun.

The International 2023 has come to an end with Team Spirit's impressive run culminating in a stunning 3:0 sweep through Gaimin Gladiators to claim their second Aegis of Champions. 

With the Dota Pro Circuit discontinued by Valve, the new competitive season after TI12 is set to commence with a $1,000,000 LAN tournament brought to you by ESL One. ESL One Kuala Lumpur will unfold from December 11th to 17th with twelve teams entering the competition.

Teams and players are starting to look at their options before the new Dota 2 season is expected to begin.

November 13 Aurora Gaming

Four of the former Talon Esports players joined Aurora Gaming, a Serbian organisation that holds teams in Counter-Strike 2 and Apex.  Aurora roster

November 9 Tundra Esports

November 7 Shopify Rebellion

November 5 nouns

nouns defeated Tundra Esports 2-0 in what was a huge upset at TI12 and ultimately took an impressive 7-8th place finish. Since the conclusion, however, the team decided to go their separate ways.

November 3 BOOM Esports

After this year's struggles in the DPC, shifting back and forth between divisions, BOOM ended up missing The International 2023 when they took 5-6th place in the regional qualifiers. In a recording published by the organization, BOOM announced a full disbandment of the roster. 


November 3 Nemiga Gaming

In an interview video released by Eastern European organization Nemiga Gaming, they announced the team has parted ways with several players Vladimir "RodjER" Nikogosian, Stanislav "Malr1ne" Potorak, Ivan "Vazya" German and their coach Alexei "j4" Lipai. The team took 7-8th place in the EEU TI12 regional qualifiers.

Ye "BoBoKa" Zhibiao has been released from both BOOM esports loan and Team Aster for the upcoming season. 


November 2 Evil Geniuses

Evil Geniuses' South American Dota 2 roster enters free agency while the organization’s future is uncertain. Evil Geniuses manager Vitoria "Guashineen" Otero broke the news on social media regarding the Dota2 team situation stating that the entire roster parted ways with the organization and that everyone is “seeking a new future.”

October 31 PSG Quest

Quest bid farewell to Tobias "Tobi" Buchner after a disappointing 17-20th place at The International 2023. Tobi was brought on board in August after he parted ways with Entity Gaming.

October 4 Blacklist International

Two players along with the assistant coach have already departed from the Filipino outfit Blacklist International. Looking ahead to the next competitive season, Blacklist will continue their journey in the Dota 2 field without Karl Matthew "Karl" Baldovino and Damien "kpii" Chok in the mid and offlane, respectively.
