SK Gaming have successfully bested FaZe Clan with a - map score, securing the team a placement in the semi-finals of the ELEAGUE Major.

Europe FaZe Clan win on de_Mirage - 12:3, 4:4 (16:7)

FaZe Clan's Fabien "kioShiMa" Fiey explodes onto the map on the T side, where he manages to clutch out a low-hp 2v1 situation, securing the first pistol round for his team. The obligatory two additional rounds were secured, shortly after which SK Gaming were able to get back into the game, securing their first buy round. FaZe conceded but another round to the Brazilians, followed by a dominant performance where the team ran away with a further six rounds, settling the score at 9:2 in favour of the Europeans. Round 12 saw a peculiar situation, whereby the FaZe duo of Aleksi "allu" Jalli and Fabien "kioShiMa" Fiey confused the Brazilians roster into thinking that the bomb was planted on A. Three members of SK Gaming were searching around the bomb site, only to find out that indeed the bomb was on B. At the time of realisation it was far too late and they conceded a round to a situation that was not thought to be possible. Following this round, SK Gaming managed to secure the third round of the first half, placing the team at a 3:10 deficit. Ultimately FaZe were able to dominate the T side of Mirage, running away with a 12:3 initial half.

The second pistol round, again, went in the way of the European mix and convincingly so. Three members of the team remained alive upon its conclusion, placing the team ever so close to a victory on the first map. Round 17 saw a force buy from the Brazilians, which just about worked out, as Fabien "kioShiMa" Fiey was unable to find Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo by the end of the round, securing a crucial round for his team. The following round saw a half buy for FaZe Clan, where the team decided to go for an aggressive play that worked out perfectly, as the Brazilians ran out of time, unable to secure a plant on the A site. SK Gaming were able to demolish FaZe's economy, producing an atmosphere where the European mix was perpetually stuck with little to no money for a full buy. Said atmosphere meant that the Brazilians were able to amass a few rounds. On the final, 23rd round, Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo and Marcelo "coldzera" David were sneaking into the B bombsite undetected in an attempt to secure another round for their team - this attempt was shut down entirely by Fabien "kioShiMa" Fiey as he was able to trade himself for the bomb planter, leaving the final member with no time to plant, in turn securing the final round for a 16:7 win for FaZe Clan.

Brazil SK Gaming win on de_Train - 12:3, 4:0 (16:3)

SK Gaming enter their home soil on de_Train, where they are able to pick up the first pistol round with three member remaining alive. Round two saw quite the malarkey as SK Gaming were very close to losing it, despite a clearly favoured economy. TACO was left in a 1v1 situation against rain, where both players were wiffing left and right, unable to close out the round. Ultimately, however, TACO found it in him to spray down the Norwegian, securing the second round of the map for his team. SK consistently ran away with rounds, allowing for a strong 6:1 lead. On the 8th round FaZe made the decision to force buy, one that helped them secure the first round of the map. Throughout the remainder of the match FaZe seemed utterly lost and incapable of withstanding the aggression from the Brazilians, concluding the first half at a strong 12:3, reproducing FaZe's initial score on de_Mirage.

Seeing as SK Gaming had amassed such a commanding lead, it didn't take much for the Brazilians to close out the map. They grabbed the pistol, followed by an additional two rounds that are usual for such a situation. During the last round, Fernando "fer" Alvarenga stepped up against FaZe Clan, closing out the map with a shiny 4k, pushing the series onto map three.

SK Gaming secure the pistol round, despite a superb 4k from none other than Fabien "kioShiMa" Fiey. Epitacio "TACO" de Melo was able to dispatch a low health Finn "karrigan" Andersen to secure one of the most crucial rounds of the map. FaZe decide to force buy in the second round, only to be shut down and denied a bomb plant by in-game leader and captain of SK Gaming, Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo. Further rounds were accumulated, all the way up to a flawless 6:0. On the 7th round FaZe go for a more puggy approach on bombsite B and did so to great avail, securing their first round of the half. This success was followed by another rush onto B that similarly worked out, bringing back a slight confidence to the team, as well as a second round. This was a pivotal point in the first half, where FaZe seemingly brought themselves back into the winner's mind-set. Back and forth motion from both teams concluded at a 9:6 lead for SK Gaming going into the second half.

The fourth consecutive pistol round goes to the Brazilians, greatly increasing their chances at taking away the series. FaZe Clan were unable to pose anything against SK Gaming, allowing the team to completely run them  over in the second half, securing six consecutive rounds and subsequently securing their match-up in the semi-finals of the ELEAGUE Major.
