Mega Man: Dual Override, Dragon’s Dogma II: Dark Arisen, and a new Monster Hunter Wilds monster led the show.
Tokyo Game Show is just around the corner, and right before it kicks off, Capcom has lifted the veil on what’s new and what’s next for some of its recently released games, biggest IPs, and more through the Capcom Spotlight livestream on Wednesday (16 September).
While some of the announcements covered things revealed at previous game shows, the showcase also included a couple of developer deep dives into upcoming releases.

Mega Man: Dual Override
The developers of Mega Man: Dual Override not only showed a trailer for the upcoming game, but also talked about the gameplay systems players can look forward to, including the differences between playing as Mega Man and Proto Man.

Dragon’s Dogma II: Dark Arisen
Capcom shared more details on Dragon’s Dogma II: Dark Arisen, including the new frozen region of Norgan, where players will join the mysterious Eir in uncovering the secrets of a heartless Fallen Dragon. The expansion will also introduce a relic-focused progression system, 12 new dungeons containing rare equipment, and additional character customisation options and Pawns.
Street Fighter 6
Street Fighter 6 showed off more of Arjun, the second Year 4 DLC character, who will arrive on 13 October with a fighting style built around yoga breathing techniques, traps, and recoverable damage. Capcom also revealed a new Outfit 4 for C. Viper, more tie-in content for the upcoming Street Fighter film, and teased Tifa Lockhart and Bosch as the remaining Year 4 characters.
Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance
Teostra will return in Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance, alongside a newly discovered Elder Dragon capable of controlling storms. The expansion will also introduce new Boost mechanics for all 14 weapon types and several quality-of-life changes, while the base game is set to arrive on Nintendo Switch 2 on 6 December, with Ascendance coming later.
