Team Spirit dropped just one map in their undefeated run to the championship of BLAST Open Fall Porto 2026.
Russian Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) powerhouse 
Team Spirit have been crowned as champions of BLAST Open Fall Porto 2026 after they went on an undefeated run through the entire tournament capped off by a 3-1 victory over 
MOUZ in the grand finals on Monday (7 September).
With their victory, Spirit claimed the grand prize of US$250,000, split between US$150,000 for the players and US$100,000 for the organisation, out of the tournament's US$1.1 million prize pool. Spirit's victory in Porto also avenges their previous loss to MOUZ in the grand finals of BLAST Bounty Summer 2026 in August. This also marks the team's second tournament win out of the last three S-Tier tournaments, with their first being the CS2 Esports World Cup 2026, since the IEM Cologne Major 2026 in June.
Team Spirit go undefeated in BLAST Open Fall Porto 2026
Spirit were nigh-unstoppable in Porto, as they won all five matches they played in the tournament and only dropped a single map en route to the championship.
Spirit started their campaign in the BLAST Open Fall Porto 2026 Group Stage in Group A, where they earned the group's top seed by sweeping 
DENDELE CS, 
G2 Esports, and 
FURIA. Meanwhile, MOUZ finished as the top seed of Group B after they swept 
9z Team and 
Inner Circle Esports then took down reigning Major champions 
Team Falcons in three maps.
As the top seeds of their respective groups, Spirit and MOUZ both earned direct berths to the semifinals in the Playoffs.
Spirit's first opponent in the Playoffs were Falcons, with the Russian squad sweeping the series by winning Nuke (13-8) and Ancient (13-11) to easily advance to the grand finals. A rematch of the BLAST Bounty Summer 2026 was then set when MOUZ won the other semifinal over an undermanned 
Team Vitality, who were playing with 
Justinas “jL” Lekavičius as a stand-in for 
William “mezii” Merriman.
The grand finals kicked off in Dust II, where both sides ended the first half in a 6-6 tie. However, Spirit dominated the second half as the CT side, 7-2, to claim their first map of the grand finals with a comfortable 13-8 score.
Map two in Mirage saw Spirit continue rolling on the CT side and end the first half with a commanding 8-4 lead. However, a resilient MOUZ squad managed to pull off a 9-3 comeback in the second half to hand Spirit their first and only loss of the tournament.
Spirit were quick to shake off their loss in Mirage come map three in Ancient, where they put on a masterful performance on the T side and demolished MOUZ to the tune of a 11-1 lead. While MOUZ managed to scrape two rounds after the side switch, they could do little to stop Spirit from claiming the 13-3 win in Ancient and come within one map away from the title.
Spirit smelled blood in the water in map four at Nuke, where they dismantled MOUZ in the first half as the CT side to lead 8-4. Despite their best efforts to force the grand finals to a fifth map, MOUZ only managed to win two rounds as Spirit closed out Nuke with a comfortable 13-6 win to secure the championship of BLAST Open Fall Porto 2026.
