Aha will be Honkai: Star Rail's first-ever playable Aeon.
Honkai: Star Rail unveiled that Aha, the Aeon of Elation, is set to become the game's first playable Aeon in Version 4.7, which is expected to release either in late November or early December. Aha will manifest through Nihilux, who was first hinted at becoming a playable character back in January.
Who is Aha in Honkai: Star Rail?
In the universe of Honkai: Star Rail, Aeons are higher-dimensional beings akin to gods that preside over Paths, congregations of imaginary energy born as manifestations of universal philosophical concepts. Aha is the Aeon presiding over the Path of Elation, and one of the few closer to mortals. Believers of the Path of Elation are indoctrinated by Aha to delight in the joys of life, causing chaos and mischief through unpredictable means.
Aha is neither good or evil, and instead works beyond traditional human moral concepts. They instead do whatever they find is funny and most entertaining to them at any given moment.
It is believed by Aha's most devout followers, the Masked Fools, that Aha's ascendance to godhood was because of an event where a crying baby fell from the highest branch of the Imaginary Tree, causing Aha to laugh so loud that the sound echoed throughout the universe.
As a playable character, Aha will manifest through Nihilux, a citizen of Planarcadia and the ex-president of the gossip magazine Furbobo Weekly.
