Singapore to host first-ever Southeast Asia Counter-Strike 2 Major in November 2026

PGL Major Singapore marks Valve’s first Counter-Strike 2 Major in Southeast Asia.

Tournament organiser PGL has announced that it will host the next Valve’s Counter-Strike 2 Major in Southeast Asia for the first time, with the event set to run in Singapore from 24 November to 13 December 2026.

The PGL Major Singapore 2026 will feature 32 teams, maintaining the same team count as the BLAST.tv Austin Major last year, and will offer a prize pool of US$1.25 million. The final four days of the tournament, from Thursday, 10 December to Sunday, 13 December, will be open to a live audience at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

PGL has also revealed a twist to the tournament format with a third-place decider matchup to be held on the final day. “This extra matchup adds more significance to the event’s closing day, giving teams one final chance to secure a podium finish and end their Major run on a high note,” PGL stated.

How PGL Major Singapore qualification works

The organiser confirmed that team qualifications will be determined using Valve Regional Standings (VRS), scheduled to be published on 2 November.

Teams have until 6 November to register and submit all necessary details, including team name, logo, and registered substitutes. The Tournament Item Submission deadline is 9 November, by which all required in-game and event-related materials must be finalised.
