Complexity's qxc completes the line-up for the NA live qualifier for Red Bull NYC while HyuN triumphs in the first global qualifier with a 3-2 against Check.
After failing to reach beat the Red Bull qualifiers twice in a row, qxc finally saw success last night in the fourth and last NA qualifier. The Complexity Terran triumphed over Hellokitty 2-1 in the semi final and over ROOT's captain CatZ 3-0 in the grand final which earned him a spot for the live qualifier on November 3rd alongside Scarlett, Vibe and HuK.
Last night was also when the first global qualifier took place. With the restriction towards residency not applying, the Koreans flooded the bracket and, expectedly, one such player emerged victor. Defeating one of the few foreigners from the Ro16 on in Bly, getting a walkover against Center in the semis and taking a five-set victory over Check in the grand final, DreamHack champion HyuN became the fifth player to fly to LA on November 3rd for the qualifier finals.
