IvD's Terran 3-0'd the Zerg queen in the second qualifier for Red Bull Battle Grounds New York. Apocalypse will join Vibe in the offline portion of the qualifier process, to be held November 3rd.
After a few series against some of the lesser known names in Starcraft 2, Apocalypse met his first big challenge in the semi finals where he played Millenium's Goswser. A 2-1 victory over the American sent IvD's Terran to the grand final and soon enough he was joined by one of North America's finest - Acer's Scarlett.
Although she reached the final as the heavy favorite to take the series, considering her major WCS Season 2 successes, Scarlett was unable to overcome her Korean opponent. Not even winning a single set, Scarlett was denied access to the live qualifier as Apocalypse dealt her a 3-0 beating.
Two more qualifiers are to be played before the full line-up of the offline qualifiers are determined. Qualifier #3 will be played on October 26th, 10:00 PDT and qualifier #4 following on the next day at the same time.
