On October 9th, ESL announced that ForGG will not be the only player skipping IEM New York and Polt and StarDust will, too, miss it. As their replacements were chosen a few minutes ago, IEM have also altered the stage one bracket pairings.
Alongside the changes in the stage one match-ups, Quantic's HyuN has been moved to the group stage to step in Polt's shoes, which puts him in one place with TLO and Zest. The rest of the group line-ups remain unchanged.
The tournament itself is just a couple of hours away, scheduled to begin at 21:30 CET. The first day of matches (which is assumed to last past 02:00 CET) will see the completion of the bracket stage, the winners of which will be seeded into the group stage. Said group stage will commence on October 11th starting at 16:30 CET and every match but group's decider will be played out before the day is over. Those will be left for October 12th just before the playoffs bracket.
