Razer Domination: Playoffs on the Horizon

The playoffs for the Razer StarCraft II Beta Domination tournament are about to begin, the last two weeks of group play have now resulted in the final eight.

Groups C and D were played out last week which saw GosuCup champion HayprO tie the winningest record in group stage with Liquid'Nazgul with a record of 6:1. The worst record of the tournament was shared by three players who went 1:6 in their groups; players Kolll, Mondragon, and MorroW.

Group D had the closest finish of all the groups as Liquid'TLO (TheLittleOne) was edged out by only a single loss. TLO would finish with a 4:3 record, allowing Lucifron to take the second and final spot in Group D to advance into the playoffs with a 4:2 record. This advancement might be justified as Lucifron had beaten TLO 2:0 in the group stage.

The first round of the playoffs will see two mirror match-ups and two Terran vs. Zerg matches being played. The first match will be between Liquid'Nazgul and White-Ra. Nazgul on April 28th at 20:00 CET. the last match is set to be played on April 30th 22:00 CET, ending the first round with another mirror match-up, a Terran vs Terran between DeMusliM and Lucifron.

All playoff games will be streamed.
