Well after downloading the new patch and playing some on Battle.net tonight, I have noticed a few problems. Not with the game itself, but with the many tools that we use to enhance our experience of StarCraft.
JCA has made many programs that have enhanced our experience of StarCraft. We here at StarCraftGamers have used these tools often. I think BWChart is the only program that is functional right now because it doesn't require the game to load up. Anyway, I found this out by trying to record audio during a game with
rainonsky[Nice] and a close friend. Nothing came up and the replay saved just as a regular replay. No audio was to be found and BWRecorder was still waiting for a game to load. So I tried BWPlayer and the same thing happened. Same thing with BWCoach. I am saddened by this but I would think that JCA will be willing to patch the programs to get them working agian. If you find any other problems/bugs with this patch, please comment below and let us know! I also have the 1.10 work around and should be uploading it soon for you to download, but for now you can message me for it.The above mentioned new patch has also put BWScanner out of function. However, no maphacks are available for the new version yet either - as far as we know - and therefore we allow melee games to be played without the program on StarGate. TravelToAiur stated that he thinks the program will be ready in one or two days - hopefully (without knowing to 100%). We've also chosen not to start the StarGate ladder until BWScanner is fixed for security reasons and to keep up the anti-hacking policy.
