Team Spirit in the upper bracket finals to become the first team to advance to the BLAST SLAM VIII grand finals. The lower bracket semifinals then saw
PARIVISION score their own sweep over
Aurora Gaming to advance to the lower bracket finals.
With the day's results, Yandex have secured at least a second place finish as well as US$135,000 in winnings. Of course, they have their sights set on the BLAST SLAM VIII title and the US$270,000 grand prize. PARIVISION have also secured at least a third place finish and US$95,000 in prize money.
Meanwhile, Aurora end their run in BLAST SLAM VIII with a commendable fourth place finish and US$65,000 in consolation.
The final day of BLAST SLAM VIII will begin with a rematch of the TI 2026 grand finals between Spirit and PARIVISION, with the winner earning the right to challenge Yandex in the championship round.
