Germany and USA, which ended 5-2 in favour of Germany. XG3, Team USA leader, only weeks ago published news in the community about applications for the new team of the USA. Appearantely there have been some internal problems with the old team which forced it to close, but now it's up again with two squads of the team, known as the -.- (A-team) and the Eagles (B-team). Rekrul, Team USA-A member, about their new team and the match in general. The fairly new re-creation of Team USA just played it first match versus Germany, and lost 2-5. What do you think of your teams effort?
"A lot of the players were either out of shape and rusty or just plain bad. I'm not too sure if the USA team is ready to take on a nations cup yet. We did have players that showed up to play and put forth effort to win though. I mean even if we had our best players I'm pretty sure Germany would still win overall."
How is team in general? Would you personally have selected other players than the ones in the team right now?
"The team is as good as it can be right now I guess (which is really bad). Like I said, a lot of the good players are not really playing anymore, like FroZ and HovZ, and Assem didn't wanna be part of the team. Thats three of our best players right there. "
You personally beat CopeTheUnknown, 2 games to 1. What happened here, any comments on the games?
"Game one I didn't play very well, and game two Cope didn't play very well. Each one of those the other player took advantage of the other's mistakes and won. Game three was a pretty good game, I got off to an early advantage by killing his 2 fact rush, but got behind a little bit and won the game only because of arbiters. "
What is your prediction of the ClanBase nations cup, who will win it (1-2-3 etc) and where do you think team USA will end up?
"I guess Germany or Canada will win. I'm pretty positive that USA won't do very well, as we are in a current state of disarray right now. Not like these nations cups matter anyways. It's just something for BW players to look forward to and brag about I guess. I think it's pretty sad how prideful some players get about these silly nation matches. The individual results of one nation war doesn't even mean anything, because it all depends on who is playing who, what players show up, etc etc."
