Maps, Maps and Maps!

[s]starcraft[/s]Something different. I am trying to find news for everyone and give you as much variety as I can. Often other sites tend to become elitist and report news that are read by less than 2% of starcraft players. Here at Starcraftgamers we make an effort to find interesting news and stuff for the entire Starcraft community. Both for seasoned players and those just starting out.

Today’s special is 'Maps for everyone'. Although they are not maps you will find pros playing, they are maps made by decent map makers. I will include all pro-maps too for the die hard elitist. They are all 'playable'.

The map that gets special mention due to beautiful esthetics is
Fractal 1.0 by –black-death- submitted at Staredit.net.

You can download it here » Fractal

Most of you may know these sites but remember there is a growing generation of Starcraft players who join our ranks every day. There is a wider offer of maps at these sites:

» Staredit.net
More beautiful maps like fractal to impress your favorite map hacker or observers can be found here. Also if you are a UMS fan this site has some of the very best made UMS maps too. Check in their download section

» Starcraft.org
The January 2003 StarCraft.Org Maps Pack. A large map pack that will have something for everyone. This map pack was released a while back but it may have escaped the attention of some.

» Team Areola’s Observer maps
The best collection of Observer maps I know of. You will find many of the classic maps from Starcraft and Broodwar adapted for having observers. Almost all maps with the initials TA on them are very well made maps.

» Promaps.deported.net
An old site made by Excalibur_Z now hosted by Draeger. Every single Pro Map you ever wanted in one nice big bundle, around 11 MB of them. Please note that all these maps are already or will be uploaded in our own map section in the near future.
