POLL: Gateway on Bnet

[s]poll[/s] The new era has begun! And with the new era there is a new poll. The recent poll asked about the playing style, and as some wrote in the comments about the poll, we could conclude that there are many aggressive players out there, almost 50%. The not so surprising part is that the defensive players are very quiet. Since most players try to win the game (not all, but almost) there aren't that many defensive players around. The option defensive aggressiveness got about one third of the votes and I think that accounts for most gamers (since I have the firm belief, with the exception of Zerg, that most users don't go aggressive from the start). So from the recent polls we can also see that there is some connection between certain parts of the game, such as; Aggressive players prefer early game, since that is when they try to strike down their opponent with force. Defensive/Aggressive players tend to like middle game since that is when they leave their base to meet the enemy outside! Maybe there is a stronger correlation between them than one might have suspected, but for the defensive (pure defense) we can see that they would tend to like the late game. Although there are probably many gamers out there liking late game (going Battleships etc) because it is fun with many units. Well for now the results from the latest poll may answer for themselves.

Well to the new poll then, there has been some (as mentioned above) correlation between the different types of gameplay, and therefore we come to something that involves it but in an indirect way. The new poll will be "Have you ever played on a gateway other than the standard Battle.net ones (Europe, Asia, U.S West & U.S East)" and it will have options running from "What's a private gateway?" to "I only play private gateways" so there is a vote for everybody.
