New Version of ScmDraft Released!

[s]maps[/s]

A new version of ScmDraft 2 (V0.7.0) was released on the 18th. The mod of Staredit, the original Campaign Editor, has a number of new features and fixed bugs.

It's been a while since the last update was made (excluding the prerelease), but it's finally done and the makers have expanded on what great things the previous versions have done for all the many innovative mappers out there.

The program is made to expand on what the original StarCraft Campaign Editor did. In this program you are able to bend the rules that Blizzard layed down for the original. You are allowed to implement more advanced triggers features; which is impossible to do in the original. It also has an awesome zoom feature and incredible tiled terrain editing giving mappers the tools to create inverted ramps and wide bridges and such. ScmDraft is basically a third party map editor for StarCraft.

Biggest Updates:

- Redid plugin code, updated text trigedit for new plugin interface
- Added classic mission briefing editor
- Added switch renaming dialog
- Added support for 1.14 text colors
- Copy / Cut / Paste units, doodads, sprites, terrain, and multilayers.

Stormcoast Fortress, as always, asks anyone that downloads the program, to report any bugs that may have been overlooked or crashes that may happen and to include the generated .dmp file if possible. Future plans will involve some sort of documentation and afterwards, allow uploading and downloading of custom brush files to Stormcoast Fortress. As for any future updates for the trigger editor, it is a possibility, they are not garunteeing an update at the moment.

Many of the new features really help out the many mappers of the community and Stormcoast Fortress' work on this program is greatly appreciated.
