PGTour 4 Top 10 Sighting *

[s]pgtour[/s]

Three weeks have passed since PGTour was reborn, like a Zerg Cerebrate being reborn by the Overmind. Luckily for PGTour no Dark Templar killed PGTour; meaning (if you have played the campaign) a rebirth is possible. GosuGamers has taken a look at the 1on1 ladder and sorted out the non-koreans from the otherwise Korean dominated ladder.

One of the most interesting notes on the ladder is that the former anSWers World manager streetZ (now manager for MeetyourMakers) ranked #15, thus the highest non-Korean on PGTour. Rumours has it that he is not the one playing on the account - rumours say that it is Draco practising Zerg vs. Protoss, and the other two mYm.sc members yAn or Advokate (who both are playing on the account WCG2005~ as well if the rumours serves truth right) playing Terran. GosuGamers have tried to contact streetZ about it with no luck. However as soon as we have, we will let you know if the rumours are true or not.

4 Chinese players in the Top 10

In the Top 10, we also find a total of four Chinese players, where two of them ( the #85 and #92 Bat.JiFeng and ilovekh) have played an extremely high number of games, around 300 each. We also see iD.SquaLL, ranked #69 with a B+ 113-80. Now, enough talk, here is the list:

Races based on the highest % on the players' PGTour profiles
Other than the ladders, the PGTour management is thinking of putting together a clanleague. But before they do, they want your feedback. More information on how to give them feedback » here. Happy playing!

• Update

It appears that streetZ account has been hacked by an Italian called

sexyfire-, according to Pat at PGTour. Although Pat said that sexyfire- gave it back, as far as he knew. However this does not answer the question on if anyone's behind the account and in that case who is behind it. More updates to come when we know more!
