Both players should be in mind of every Broodwar fanatic, the american Terran Assem, professional gamer in South Korea and Breakdown who recently joined the team of SSV Lehnitz among Fisheye and others. They faced today in the GGL finals.
Assem is the only remaining non-korean professional player in South Korea after
Legionnaire retired some while ago.
Breakdown recently joined the multi-clan team of SSV Lehnitz among Fisheye, Schnibl0r and Fenris. The had to play a best of 7 series, Assem got 1-0 since he came from winner-bracket. The prize for the winner will be USD 1700. A truly nice amount for any player. And here are the results :| Assem vs. eSa.Breakdown 1 - 0 Assem vs. eSa.Breakdown 2 - 0 Assem vs. eSa.Breakdown3 - 0 |
As you can see Assem did a 4 - 0 victory over Breakdown. Due to the fact that Assem lead the best of 7 series already with 1 - 0 due his advantage coming from winner-bracket only three maps were needed for Assem to take his victory and the prize-money. The replays will be uploaded to our replay archive in some minutes.
