Artosis wins WCG Online Beta

The World Cyber Games Online Beta Tournament testing period is now over, and the winner of the ladder is none other than Artosis! He played a number of 44 games where he only lost two. Congratulations!



United States Dan "Artosis" Stemkoski, WCG'04 attendant for USA took part in the WCG 2005 Online Tournament Beta test, among 135 others. He played a total of 44 games, where 41 were registered as wins, placing him #1. The first prize in this tournament was an Nvidia GeForce 5600, a powerful video card. The tournament was ladder-based, and only Americans were allowed to take part. Despite that some other nationalities were represented in the ladder, but as expected mostly Americans filled up the ladder.

21 points ahead the runner-up

Other known names in the ladder were Korea Cypressman and United States rS.eVade who ended in the Top 5. Although, none of them will receive a prize except for Artosis. Instead, the second nVIDIA video card will go to a "...randomly chosen gamers from those who have submitted a bug and opinion report for each game".
