Random Map Selector

[s]starcraft[/s]On a lazy friday afternoon, yesterday to be precise, I sat at my PC and chatted with

TraveltoAuir about Starcraft and our community. During our conversation I happened to mention to him about an idea that keeps popping back up amongst starcraft players over and over. The last person whom I have heard this idea was

karelen that started a new thread on the subject at TL.net.

Anyway I asked him if he could make a program that selects a map randomly from a specified map folder. His answer? “Easy, I will get back to you soon.”

I remember back in 1.07 patch Era that I had seen this idea become reality in a program called Random Map Selector by

HSmoke that was so buggy with my operating system I could never get to use properly.

Well exactly 24 hours after that conversation TraveltoAuir comes back with a program for me to beta test. What can I tell you, it works perfectly and I am in a nirvana state of happiness. There is nothing more than playing a 1v1, on a new unknown and now “randomly selected” map made by none other that our Saint, TravetoAuir, that a Fog of Worshiper likes!

He will release the official beta version very soon. So check here or his site for the release. This guy is a machine and I swear he is holy.
