BWCL Final: iv. beat uD.

[s]event[/s]The finals in the Brood War Clan Liga Cup, with the slogan "The biggest Brood War Clan league in Germany" were played yesterday. As I wrote in my » previous newspost about this event, it was up between the German clan Ivy Amateur Team and the Polish clan Ultime Dancers, who on their homepage seem to be happy bears drinking tea.

The BWCL Cup is a chance to enter one of the leagues that BWCL is hosting. In this cup the prize was that the finalists got a ticket to League 2. Every team can participate in this cup, from every different group and division.

The game format was best of three, with three 1on1s, one 2on2 and finally one 3on3. As you can see by the results, Ivy Amateur Team was clearly the better team. They won every game except the 2on2, where they just lost with 1-2. Here are the results:

uD.YouREnD	<	iv.StOrMy	0-2
uD.RejN	<	iv.JoKa	0-2
uD.EmKey	<	iv.GoOdy	0-2
uD.CoRpi uD.LorD	>	iv.JoKa iv.Boto	2-1
uD.MailMaN uD.CoRpi uD.LorD	<	iv.JoKa iv.StOrMy iv.oMNi	0-2

uD. 1-4 iv.

The price for winning this BWCL Cup is two tickets to League 2, but since iv. already are in League 1, the two tickets to League 2 went to Ultime Dancers and INOR instead.

You may find the replays » here, where all games except the 2on2 seem to be packed in WinZip format. It weighs 750 kB, and there are a total of eight replays. Enjoy.

I would like to thank » ash.doLife for helping me translate some of the German text that I didn't understand!
