There are a lot of things to keep track of in the Overwatch scene and it's become increasingly difficult to keep up with it all. Never fear as the GosuGamers Competitive Recap is here! We've compiled all the Overwatch news that's fit to print.

Released every week, the Competitive Recap compiles all the tournament and important news that's happened over the last seven days. Whether you're interested in big news, or want to stay updated on changes in teams, you can always tune in every week to see if there's anything you've missed.

You can now win a gold medal playing eSports! Well, not quite all of you

Is it time to have that discussion again? Are eSports real sports? The 2022 Asian Games seem to agree, as in that year eSports atheletes will be able to win real medals.

Kaplan confirms three maps are in the works for 2017

Jeff Kaplan continues to seek interaction with fans on the official forums. This time he got us excited for three new competitive maps that should arrive this year, as well as a few more for the Arcade.

China, Korea lead the list of 2017 World Cup participants

Phase 1 of the 2017 Overwatch World Cup has ended. This means all countries that will participate have been selected. Next up, we will get to see what players will represent their nations.

Except, LH didn't keep the players for long due to some player history. Laser Kittenz gladly took the free agents in however, as Alicus continues to work on a roster that will compete with the best.

Detroit Renegades welcomes ZachaREEE, still one spot open

Detroit could very well be one of the cities involved in OWL's first season. And the Renegades are looking like the team working to make that happen.

Laser Kittenz will try out Skipjack, as they say goodbye to Neshh

Laser Kittenz announced a whole bunch of roster changes this week, taking in Skipjack (still on a Misfits contract).

The most shocking news this week was Hulk's departure from the roster he founded and headed for so long. After an initial announcement he was to join LK as their coach, he is now set to coach Rogue as they play in Korea.

Fl0w3r, Pine reunited in revamped LW Blue roster ahead of APEX Season 3

LW Blue is determined to get first place in APEX this time around, making sure they don't go home with anything less.
