Community reacts to Lucio in Heroes of the Storm

With full talents and abilities to pour over, pro players, casters, and content creators weigh on on their Lucio first impression.

If you missed it on Friday, we posted the full talents and abilities for Lucio as provided by Blizzard. As the HGC wages on, the latest Overwatch hero (and long awaited support) is still in the back of everyone's mind. His PTR should go live next week but, until then, let's take a look at what the community has to say:

HeroesHype tournament organizer @Royalite paints a picture of the confusing world Overwatch players with Heroes of the Storm friends will have to endure. Just two more releases and the full OW team dream is real.

There's a fantastic opportunity to change-up the Support role with Lucio. I love healing, but I think that Supports should have more utility

James Baker is known for his world class support play, so when he talks about support Heroes most people listen. Lucio seems to have tons of utility and seems to be a step in the right direction.

Lucio, another Support with no Cleanse at 7. Very interested to see if this is a pattern. So many mixed feelings.

On the other hand, Srey isn't too thrilled with Lucio's lack of Cleanse at level 7. There is no denying it will make him a less effective support in many draft situations, but Cleanse is inherently a mechanic Blizzard is trying to stray away from. Is this a good thing or a bad one? Mixed feelings indeed.

Speaking of support players, DunkTrain sounds pretty confident that Lucio will be impossible to balance. Auras are to disorganized play as multiple stealth heroes are to Quick match. It is likely that Lucio's healing aura's will be extremely powerful in casual play, which will require very conservative numbers to make Lucio balance.
