Nangong Yu and Cissia join Zenless Zone Zero in Version 2.7

The two S-rank agents coming to Version 2.7 are Nangong Yu from the Angels of Delusion and Cissia from the Metropolitan Order Division of the N.E.P.S.

Nangong Yu

Nangong Yu, the leader of the Angels of Delusion.

Version 2.7 introduces Nangong Yu, captain and lead dancer of the Angels of Delusion. Nangong Yu arrives as an S-Rank Ether Stun Agent who specialises in enhancing her team’s ability to capitalise on stunned enemies. Based on the livestream, her core passive increases the squad’s Anomaly Buildup Rate against stunned targets, making it easier for teammates to trigger powerful follow-up effects.

During battle, she automatically regenerates a resource known as Downbeat, which also increases whenever allies inflict Anomaly on enemies. Once enough Downbeat has accumulated, Nangong Yu can unleash charged attacks that extend the enemy’s Stun duration, while simultaneously accelerating her own Stun and Anomaly buildup.

Her Ultimate, Ether Veil: Delusion Reprise, provides a further boost by increasing the entire squad’s Attack, creating ideal windows for heavy damage combos.

Alongside her gameplay debut, Nangong Yu will also receive a brand-new outfit highlighting both her stage presence and combat ability. Players who collect all members of the Angels of Delusion will unlock an exclusive faction wallpaper.

Nangong Yu’s banner will run during the first half of Version 2.7, alongside the banner re-run of Spook Shack's Yidhari.

Cissia

Forever unserious: Cissia from the Metropolitan Order Division of the N.E.P.S.

Another major competitor entering the tournament is Cissia from the Metropolitan Order Division. As an S-Rank Electric Attack Agent, Cissia begins combat with three stacks of Venom. Each stack deals Electric damage over time while temporarily boosting her CRIT Rate, allowing her to quickly pressure enemies at the start of battle.

While Venom gradually dissipates, she can generate additional stacks through her EX Special Attack. Once several stacks have built up, Cissia can expend them using Basic Attack: Serpent’s Kiss, unleashing powerful bursts of damage at key moments during combat. Her kit revolves around carefully managing Venom stacks to maximise burst windows, making her a dangerous damage dealer in longer fights.

Cissia’s banner will run in the second half of Version 2.7, alongside the banner re-run for Seed.

New events and challenges in Version 2.7 include a hotpot mini-game and an HSO6 challenge

A completely new event called Simmering Flavors finally lets our Proxies have hotpot in a mini-game.

Outside the Hollow Champion tournament, Version 2.7 introduces several new activities across New Eridu. At Lumina Square, the lively Simmer Hot Pot Restaurant becomes the focus of a themed event. Players will assist Blaze with her latest predicament while taking part in a playful hot pot–inspired activity.

Meanwhile, a special mission from HSOS 6 challenges players to complete a relay-style combat mode using three separate squads of two characters each, testing team composition and coordination.

The Simulated Battle Trial mode is also receiving an update with new enemy lineups and additional bonus mechanics. Players can compete for higher leaderboard rankings while earning rewards such as Polychromes, a namecard, and exclusive titles.
