A lot of exciting things are happening with gamescom this week, and Grubby highlighted some of the major adjustments coming to Valla's talents.
Originally reported on Grubby's stream, and recapped in this Reddit post, there are some significant changes coming to Valla. The first thing that stands out is her basic attack damage being nerfed from 98 to 62. There was a buff to her trait though, causing Hatred stacks to increase her basic attack damage by 8% (up from 3%). Vault also now gives increased damage to the next basic attack.
There were a lot of changes across the board on Valla's talents, but one of the major one is the way her Rain of Vengance ultimate works now.
- Rain of Vengeance: Launches 1 wave of shadow beasts. Now has 2 stacks, each costing 50 mana.
The changes to Rain of Vengance will allow for more skilled use of the ultimate. Another major change comes to her level 13 talents, Arsenal.
- Arsenal: Multishot also fires grenades (same as before), but each hero hit by a grenade also reduces Multishot cooldown by 3 seconds.
The lower cooldown potential from this talent makes it even more of a viable pick at level 13. Her level 20 talent Vengance was changed as well.
- Vengance: On top of current functionality, Strafe now returns 25% damage as health.
Bolt of the Storm was also removed at level 20.
