Everyone knows Melee Assassins need some love. While acknowledging the competitive success of The Butcher, Blizzard recently confirmed Kerrigan changes with the next patch.
Kerrigan fans have a lot to be cross about. More so than any other hero, Kerrigan relies on generic talents to consistently perform well. This means Envenom, Sprint, and Blood for Blood are almost always picked by Kerrigan players looking to get the most out of their hero.
With the recent nerfs to both Envenom and Blood for Blood, it becomes even easier to pass on Kerrigan. Even more so when you consider The Butcher outclasses her in almost every regard, yet they are essentially designed to do the same thing: punish enemies are who are of position. Frustrations are at an all time high for the loyal Kerrigan players out there.
In this extensive Blizzard forum post, Kerrigan sympathizers gathered to express their frustration with the current Queen of blades. Never picked talents, low auto attack damage, am inconsequential trait, and the reliance on generic talents were all topics of discussion and everyone seemed to be in agreement. Kerrigan is no longer deserving of her alpha moniker, Carry-gan.
Then, just before publically stating that The Butcher is balanced and Blizzard likes his power level, assistant community manager Trikslyr made this comment:

"Some stuff for her in the works". "New talents to play around with". Sounds promising. Let's hope this re-work doesn't end up making Kerrigan weaker like poor old Diablo, who at one point was a tier 1 tournament staple before his rework.
