Heroes of The Storm goes into open beta May 19, and is released June 2.
Blizzard struck with some explosive news today, confirming both an open beta schedule and a release date. On May 19, the game will be available to all players and after a two week testing period, the game will be released in full. For those already in the game, this means more players will be coming in, hopefully alleviating some of your matchmaking woes and it's very likely that updates will become slightly more frequent in preparation for the game's release. While this does seem like a very short time frame, the game has been in closed alpha/beta for over a year now. Since then, HoTS has undergone some serious gameplay and graphical changes and Blizzard is likely very happy with where it is now.
