The "Hearthstone competitive recap" is issued every Monday and goes over the major events in - and often outside - competitive Hearthstone. Blizzard's card game is in the middle of its HCT campaign but there are also lots of other third party tournaments running in parallel, and this post will summarize everything for your convenience.

Tournament news:
The Russian, age 18, became the third Hearthstone World Champion on Saturday. Pavel defeated DrHippi in the final match after also eliminating China's OmegaZero and JasonZhou as well as Americas' Amnesiac along the way. Pavel is now Hearthstone's highest-winning player of all time.
Celestial Invitational returns this week
The unusual invitational which changes formats each week returns on Tuesday featuring the Wild Format. A total of 10 matches will be played this week, giving a good idea who will be the first players to make the playoffs.
The player list for DreamHack Winter is full
The last DreamHack tournament for the year will see nine of the previous circuit champions attend the Jonkoping event end of November. The prize pool is once against set at $27,500 and DH:Winter will also be the first third-party major to give points for the 2017 HCT circuit.

Mean Streets of Gadgetzan expansion announced
132 new cards, including the first-ever tri-class neutrals, make for Hearthstone's latest expansion. Gadgetzan is expected to hit stores early December with no date set just yet. The full card list is available in the link above.
