The trio of Ame, Xm, and XinQ that led Xtreme Gaming to the grand finals of TI 2025 has been reunited.

Xtreme Gaming (XG) have revealed their revamped roster for the 2026-2027 competitive Dota 2 season, with mid laner 
Hongcheng “Xm” Guo and position 4 support player Zixing “XinQ” Zhao returning to the team to reunite with superstar carry player Wang “Ame” Chunyu.
Rounding out XG's new roster are offlaner 
Nicholas Lim “zeal” Eng Han and position 5 support player Zhibiao “BoBoKa” Ye. Former XG assistant coach Wang "Maps" Yutian has also been promoted and is now the team's head coach.
XG revealed its new roster in a post on its official Weibo account, with the team also revealing that they have received direct invites to the first two Tier 1 tournaments of the new season: PGL Wallachia Season 9 and BLAST Slam VIII.
“A fresh start, a promising future awaits! The team has already secured direct invites to BLAST and PGL tournaments. The revamped XG is ready to go! We hope everyone quickly integrates into the new environment and roster, and together with our carry player Ame, we'll fight side-by-side and give it our all in the upcoming matches. With passion as our boat and focus as our oars, we'll face every tough battle head-on and make the most of every moment,” a machine translation of XG's announcement read.
Xtreme Gaming overhaul roster around Ame following disastrous TI 2026 campaign
XG's roster overhaul comes after an abysmal showing in The International (TI) 2026, held in Shanghai, China back in August. Despite being the runners-up of TI 2025, XG failed to qualify for the Playoffs of TI 2026 after losing to fellow Chinese squad 
Team Resilience in the final round of the Group Stage.
With XG getting knocked out in the Group Stage, as well as Resilience and 
Vici Gaming both losing in the Elimination Round, no Chinese teams were able to play in front of their home crowd in the TI 2026 Playoffs.
Last week, XG signaled its intent to rebuild the team around Ame by parting ways with Cheng “NothingToSay” Jin Xiang, Jing “Xxs” Lin, Xu “fy” Linsen, Jian Wei “xNova-” Yap, and coach Zhi Cheng “LaNm” Zhang.
With the trio of Ame, Xm, and XinQ–who led XG to the grand finals of TI 2025–now reunited, the team will be looking to make amends for their poor performance in TI 2026 and make another attempt at reclaiming the Aegis of Champions for the struggling Chinese Dota 2 scene. The additions of veterans in zeal and BoBoKa, who notably shifted from the position 4 to the position 5 support role, as well as maps' promotion to head coach also signal a new dynamic for the team.
XG is set to debut its new roster in PGL Wallachia Season 9, the first Tier 1 tournament of the 2026-2027 season that is set to begin on 17 September. After that, the team will also compete in BLAST Slam VIII, which starts on 29 September.
