The $20,000 Viagame HouseCup has started welcoming guests for the party in October as Cloud 9 captain Gnimsh and ex-Managrind Forsen are the first invited.
The Viagame HouseCup was announced two days ago, a project of the people in charge of the DreamHack Summer broadcast. The 16-player event takes after TakeTV's HomeStory Cup and will be flying the participants to an appartment in Stockholm where they will live and compete over the weekend for a pocketful of cash.
Half of the player pool will be invitations-based and today Viagame reveal the first two confirmed names - Marcin "Gnimsh" Filipowicz and Sebastian "Forsen" Fors. Neither player is a stranger to competitive Hearthstone with Forsen boating a top 4 finish at VGVN #2 and Gnimsh being ranked #10 in Europe and the title from IEM Katowice.
According to Viagame staff, more invites will be coming during the week, two revealed each new day. The full invite pool will this be known on September 14th, just before the open qualifiers begin.
