What is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin?

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin is an official game adaptation of the critically-acclaimed comic series of the same name co-written by Kevin Eastman and Tom Waltz. Bayonetta and Nier: Automata developer PlatinumGames was officially announced to be developing the project today, following an earlier reveal of the game.

The Last Ronin comic series follows a lone surviving member of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles exploring a dystopian New York City, following the death of his three turtle siblings. The comic plays its cards close to its chest when it comes to the identity of its surviving turtle protagonist, however; so we won't spoil it here!

The game adaptation comes from newly-announced game publisher Paramount Games, which is set to publish games based on Paramount’s IPs, with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin being just the first of its upcoming projects.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin does not have a release date yet, but is set to launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
